These blades are worth the cost. Sharpenings last much longer and they feel so much better on the ice than stock blades.
Definitely a great quality of blade. The first time I have done a profiled blade for my young tendie and they were great to work with to get one that would work for him. He absolutely loves it!
I have a set of blades from tydam for my CCM frankincustom True Skates. These blades hold an edge for multiple and I finally actually hard to knock the edge down. I've never experienced such long lasting blades that didn't need to sharpening for at least three or four skates. That's just my personal preference though, I'm a bit of a steel psycho. I have a Sam profile applied and I really enjoy the skating qualities. If you don't understand what makes these blades special, they have a diamond like carbon coating applied that gives them extra hardness and holds an edge much longer than a traditional blade would. If you're looking for steel that holds an edge for way longer without needing repeated sharpenings, these are definitely worth your while in my opinion. I'm considering getting another set since I enjoyed these ones so much.
